Registration begins at 7:30 am on the 11th, and the race starts at 9 am.

The women’s race, one-hour  of highlights, will run May 4 from noon to 1 p.m. The men’s race will broadcast on May 18 from noon to 1 p.m.

Will take place on Sunday, June 1 at 9 a.m. at L.L. Bean’s Casco Conference Center on Casco Street in Freeport. 

Coolrunning.com, the number one, primo running information site on the web, is currently running on about  the Peak Performance Maine Marathon and Half-Marathon and it’s all good.

Mark Miller of Keene, New Hampshire, won Sunday’s Kennebunk Beach Classic 5 Miler with a time of 24:50.

Lee Stanfin, 24,  won Sunday’s Hot Pursuit 5K in 17:14. Aaron Long, 29,  was second in 17:48 and Colin Lindley, 28, took third in 18:32.

Dean Phillips won Sunday’s first annual L.L. Bean Time Trial completing the 18.3 mile course in 40:25:76.  Marianne Stover won the women’s in 50:23:92.
