Midcoast Time Trial details.
May 7, 2008The Midcoast Time Trial is scheduled for May 11, 2008. Registration begins on-site (no pre-registration) at 7:30 am on the 11th, and the race starts at 9 am. Registration fee is $20.
Parking and registration is at Smith and May Masonry on RT 90 in West Rockport, located just west of the intersection of RT 90 and RT 17. Overflow parking is available across the street and at the corner of 17 & 90 at the insurance company.
The course is 7.5 miles west on RT 90 towards Warren - out and back for a total of 15 miles, on a wide paved shoulder. There will be police assistance on the course at the intersection of RT 90 and RT 131 in Warren, and also at the turn around point.
Water and porta potties will be provided as well as some post-race refreshments. Preliminary results will be available within 20 minutes of the last racer crossing the finish line. Usually there are about 50 racers at this event, though interest is very strong for this year!
